IA FOREST CHALLENGE BADGE
Activity 1: EH channel
Wouldn't it be great to have a channel on TV which showed interesting programmes about nature?. We created our own "TV channel", called EH (Ellwood Hunters) channel, and as a sample of the programmes it would emit, we made a video in which the presenters interview several experts in animals. One is a forest warden of Yellowstone National Park at the USA (we interviewed him on the phone) or the responsible for mammals at Madrid's zoo. Another programme could be about cooking with ingredients you can find in the forest, and we filmed our "Masterchef" programme. This channel could be attractive to all kind of public!
Activity 2: Forest wardens
We have used all the information we got from the forest warden at Yellowstone National Park to make a book about the park. The protagonist is the Yogui Bear, which guides us through the labour that forest wardens do to preserve nature.
